It’s that time of the year for Sack N’ Save and Foodland’s “Give Aloha” campaign which makes it a good time to donate to JA of Hawai‘i Island (JAHI) to support financial literacy in our Big Island elementary, intermediate, and high schools.
Here’s how to do it: Go into any Sack N’ Save / Foodland store locations statewide, present your Maika‘i card or input your phone number at the checkout line. Inform the cashier that you’d like to make a “Give Aloha” donation for Junior Achievement of Hawai‘i Island, code #78722. Customers must be an enrolled Maika’i member for their donation to be matched.
You may donate up to $249 per organization. The amount of your donation and the name of the organization you donated to will appear on the receipt, but note that only one donation can be made per maika‘i number. A portion of each gift will be matched by Foodland / Sack N’ Save.
The donor names will not be released to our organization, but if you would like us to know of your gift, please email our JAHI District Manager at jahilo@jahawaii.org.
