Our Supporters

Our goal as an organization is to better serve the community, and support it with an educated future workforce. In return, we require the support of the community so we can continue as an organization. This includes finding volunteers from the community who are willing to go into the classrooms. It also means finding business professionals who are willing to serve as board members and support the administrative side of Junior Achievement. And support must also come from businesses and individuals that realize the importance of starting economic and business education early on and continuing it through all grade levels. What that support pays for

Support is what puts a JA program in a classroom. Every $100 donated lets JAHI reach one more elementary or middle school class, and JAHI currently reaches more than 3,000 East Hawaiʻi students a year across 16 schools. Taxes assessed on high school JA company earnings are returned to students as prizes and scholarships, and JAHI has awarded scholarships to graduating seniors for more than 20 years.

How to become a supporter

• Volunteer to teach a program in a classroom.
• Donate — Junior Achievement is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
